AhlulBayt News Agency: A solemn condolence ceremony was held at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi to honor the martyrs of the recent Israeli and American attacks against Iran.

The gathering, attended by senior political, religious, and cultural figures as well as consuls general from countries including Indonesia and Iraq, reflected growing regional solidarity with Iran amid escalating tensions in West Asia. Participants expressed condolences to Iranian diplomats and paid tribute to Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians who lost their lives in the strikes.

Asghar Waheedi, Acting Consul General of Iran in Karachi, addressed the attendees, reaffirming Iran's resolve in the face of what he described as Zionist aggression. He emphasized that Iran’s sacrifices and resilience had thwarted hostile ambitions and led to a ceasefire through firm retaliation.

According to Iran Press, Cultural Counselor Saeed Talebi and other Iranian officials expressed appreciation for the expressions of sympathy and reiterated Iran’s commitment to defending its sovereignty and people.

The ceremony followed a series of targeted attacks by Israel—carried out with U.S. backing—against Iranian territory, resulting in significant casualties and infrastructure damage. Tehran has denounced the strikes as violations of international law and responded with military and diplomatic measures aimed at restoring deterrence and honoring the martyrs.
